  • Description

The CS-NRI PPR-220 is a solvent free, chemically resistant, two-part bulk epoxy primer used atop filler compounds, but underneath the repair wraps or tapes., It is used to optimize the bond strength with the pipe and the repair wraps.

Cross-Reference / Cross-Specficiation / Compatability:

  • PPR-220 is also known as SUBLV 4oz and SUBLV 16oz

Benefits

  • High-build capability without slumping or sagging
  • Can be over-coated as soon as it is dry to the touch
  • Resistant to a wide variety of inorganic acids, alkalis, salts and organic media
  • Machinable once cured

Option

  • 4 oz and 16 oz are packaged in a clear plastic BiPack pouch with a divider clip between the parts A & B. Once the divider is removed, the epoxy can be mixed within the bipack, then the corner nipped and applied to the surface almost like icing. Very convenient and mess-free
  • Quart kits in standard kit packaging, cans or plastic containers

Applications

  • Any metal surface or surface with the epoxy fillers added.
  • Used in conjunction with patches, plugs and other leak repair techniques
  • Used to transition aggressive changes in geometry or large defects prior to installing ECR Systems

Storage

  • Store indoors in cool, dry, ventilated storage at temperatures below 35°C (95°F ) in original, unopened containers. Minimum storage temperature 15.5°C (60°F)

Limitations

  • Epoxy application temperature: minimum of 5°C (40°F) or less than 3°C (37°F) above dew point
  • Base component should be warmed to 15.5°C to 25°C (60 to 77°F) before mixing
  • Over-coating time should not exceed 3 hours
  • Suitable for long-term immersion at temperatures up to 70°C (158°F) and intermittent contactwith pressurized steam up to 120°C (248°F)
  • Resistant to dry heat in excess of 200°C (392°F) dependent on load
